Diagnostic certificates and identification cards issued by Koustav Gemological Laboratory represent an expert scientific opinion based on modern gemological testing methods, optical examinations, specific gravity evaluations, and spectroscopic analysis available at the time of examination. Certificates do not constitute a commercial appraisal, financial guarantee, or warranty of market valuation.
Every genuine diagnostic report is indexed in our secure central registry and paired with a cryptographically verifiable Reference Number and Digital QR Code. Any physical alteration, erasure, or unauthorized duplication of reports renders the certificate void. In case of discrepancy between a physical document and the digital record, the digital laboratory database record shall prevail.
Our examinations are strictly non-destructive. Gemstones submitted for testing are handled with the utmost professional care in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 handling protocols. The laboratory cannot be held liable for internal fractures or pre-existing cleavage damage within submitted specimens.
Statements regarding geographical origin or thermal/chemical treatment (such as heat treatment, lead-glass filling, or irradiation) represent scientific conclusions drawn from diagnostic indicators (e.g. inclusion characteristics and absorption spectra) and are rendered with the highest scientific diligence.
